Ukraine War Animals Relief Fund

We facilitate clinics in Ukraine to sterilize, vaccinate, and microchip dogs and cats left behind from the war.

Animals In Ukraine Need Our Help

Over 12 million people* were forced to flee Ukraine, which has resulted in millions of abandoned pets. Many are wandering the streets alone, in desperate need of help, and the crisis is worsening day by day

Our Approach

uwarf-dogs

UWARF is a 501c3 organization that partners with veterinarians, nonprofits, and animal shelters in Ukraine. We organize missions to the region and facilitate clinics to sterilize, vaccinate, and microchip dogs and cats. We also focus on reuniting, rehoming, and sheltering the abandoned animals. Additionally, we are building a technology platform and comprehensive database to track and monitor the animals and volunteer efforts.

Our Impact

Since early 2022, UWARF has completed four missions in Ukraine and provided services to help to over 5,500 animals. Future missions are planned throughout 2023 and our goal is to scale and sterilize 400,000 dogs and cats by 2025. At $44 per animal, we need your support to reach this goal!

of Ukrainians were forced to leave behind their pets, which results in millions of domesticated animals without homes. Currently, these animals are wandering the streets of Ukraine alone, without food, and vulnerable to bomb and missile attacks. Many countries have changed their laws to make it easier for humans to migrate but inadvertently made it harder for animals. This results in many animals trapped in Ukraine without their families or care.
